Report from Ki No Kenkyukai HQ
(delivered at the National Chief Instructors' Meeting in Maui - March 25, 2001)
World Camp 2001
This year World Camp will be held from Mondya, October 22, to Friday, October 26. Official announcements should have been mailed out to Chief Instructors (and will be posted at this site). World Camps have usually been held from a Wednesday, but this year there will be a wedding reception party for Shinichi Tohei Sensei and Miss Sachiko Kakiuchi on Sunday, October 21. The reception will be held at the Tokyo Palace Hotel (near the Imperial Palace) at 12:00 pm until about 3:00 pm. Ki no Kenkyukai will provide transportation from the reception to Ki No Sato afterwards. This party may require a Saturday night stay in Tokyo and other added costs, but everyone is welcome to attend.English Version of the book, The Way of Union with Ki
The Japanese version of the book has sold out. The English translation is in process and only 300 copies will be made. Ki no Kenkyukai HQ has already received many orders. The English version will be published by the end of October 2001 and shipped out by mid-November, 2001. People attending World Camp this year will be able to pick up their orders. The bookk can still be ordered at the same fees if ordered by the end of April 2001. Chief Instructors should have information for ordering books.Latest Edition of Ki in Daily Life
The revised edition of the book, Ki in Daily Life, has just been published. All the photographs have been updated. Much of the text has remained the same as the previous edition except that the sections about breathing exercise have been extensively revised.
