An authorized dojo is one that that follows all Ki Society headquarter (Ki No Kenkyukai) rules and regulations and are authorized to conduct classes in both Ki and Shin Shin Toitsu Aikido under a Regional Chief Instructor. They may have many satellite clubs and dojos under their supervision. These dojo have received a Ki calligraphy handwritten by Tohei Sensei with official stamp as well as a photograph of Tohei Sensei with the official seal.
Is this a Ki Society Dojo?
Some dojos may use the name Ki Society, Ki Aikido, Aikido with Ki, or haveTohei sensei's Ki calligraphy and his picture. This does not necessarily mean it is officially authorized by headquarters as a Ki Society Dojo. If you have any further inquiries about the organization, please contact us by e-mail.
